THE Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on Friday advised all shortlisted aspiring nurses to report for interviews at their nearest nursing training centres between September 7 and 11.
“All candidates who have received messages that they were shortlisted for interviews should report for interview at the nearest nurse training school.
“The dates of interview are 7-11 September 2020 at 0730 hrs. Please bring original birth certificates, ID & academic certificates,” tweeted MoHCC.
The e-recruitment platform has been previously marred by system glitches forcing deadlines to be extended more than twice.
Prospective applicants from remote parts of the country have also previously complained of poor network connectivity which made them fail to submit applications
Government has since revised the nurse recruitment policy, adding Mathematics to the two key subjects of the five “O” Levels required which used to be English Language and a Science subject.
A cut-off age of 17 and a half years to 30 years has also been added to the eligibility criteria, which has received overwhelming support from the health fraternity
